Case Study

A custom patio was designed for a mixed-use historic building. The owner wanted to include branding consistent with the renovated facade while incorporating stylistic elements from original tin ceilings that had been preserved in areas of the building interior.

Black and grey colors were chosen to match the palette of the industrial loft apartment with access to this space. Additional landscaping is planned for spring 2026 to finish the project.

The design started with this vector art sketch.

All our pavers are made with integrally colored concrete.

To produce a colored design we first convert a sketch to line art blocks. Then we break the design into individual pavers, as shown in the renderings below.
